Vol. 20 No. 3The Forum section in the Fall 2023 issue (Vol. 20 No. 3) of World History Connected, "Why Teach World History," is a continuation of matters addressed in the Vol. 20.1 and Vol. 20.2, which explored recent retrograde changes in World History standards and local classroom curricula. It does so by examining why the field means so much to its practitioners and students alike. This issue also features individual articles that explore "animal diplomacy" and colonial violence in world history.
